Offshore O&G Production Management System Audits

Leading an audit team of offshore oil and gas risk and compliance specialists, carrying out 3-yr program of management system audits for a major oil and gas operating company, to assure compliance with the requirements of API RP75 SEMS, for well design, drilling and production operations. within the US Gulf of Mexico. Post Macondo incident, the audits received significant interest and oversight from key US regulatory bodies and client oversight entities. The audit program, which annually was carried out over a 2-3 month period, involved detailed interviews with onshore management and engineering personnel, followed by a review of offshore deepwater production operations and contracted drill ship operations.
