Investment Fund Risk Management Framework

For a global investment fund, development of an investment risk management framework, designing and implementing risk screening processes and procedures for direct investment into the financial institute (FI) sector, including retail banks, leasing and loan organisations, including micro finance. Risk screening tools were developed and built into the investment approvals process, adding in process gates around FI E&S policy & capability review, FI portfolio risk screening, investment approval and risk mitigation. Further work was undertaken to develop E&S risk management frameworks within individual FI clients, as a risk reduction strategy and to assist each FI screen end-user investments, and to identify higher risk activities that warranted deeper review and risk mitigation.
